Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use BlackTravel.org, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions or screen magnification.
What we aim for
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. The site is built on Wix, which provides keyboard navigation, screen-reader labels and visible focus on its standard parts.
What we do
Pages use headings in order, so screen readers can jump between sections.
Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
Text is set in sizes and colors chosen to be readable.
Menus, buttons, the store and checkout can be used with a keyboard.
Where we fall short
Our guides are PDF files. They are text-based, so screen readers can read them, but some pages use layouts or images that may not read in the ideal order.
Some videos are embedded from YouTube and made by other creators. We don’t control whether they have captions, though YouTube’s automatic captions are often available in the player.
Older pages may not meet every standard yet. We fix problems as we find them.

If something on the site or in one of our guides doesn’t work for you, email info@blacktravel.org. Tell us the page or guide and what went wrong. We reply within 5 business days and will do our best to give you the content in a form you can use.
